Shahin Entezami aka Tegh is a musician, sound artist and practitioner based in Tehran, Iran. In his music, Tegh tries to bring new aural experiences to life by using various audio elements and complex soundscapes. These experiences usually manifest his personal perception in facing new stories, geographies and different situations. The ways he tries to express these ideas usually take root in Noise, Drone and Experimental electronic styles, sometimes manifesting themselves in the form of electroacoustic compositions. He has previously released on labels such as Opal Tapes (UK), Zabte Sote (IR), Hibernate Recordings (UK), Dronarivm (RU), Inner Ocean Records (CA), Midira Records (GE), Futuresequence (US), Flaming Pines (UK), Bitrot Recordings (IR) and more. Also, based on his eagerness to discover the creative worlds of other artists he has been involved in many collaboration projects like “Artirial”, “Temp- Illusion”.

Adel Poursamadi

Adel Poursamadi (b. 1984) is a violinist based in Tehran, Iran. He is the offspring of Marjan Ghanbarimehr, the prominent violinist and violin tutor, and Moreza Poursamadi, the photographer and cinematographer of movies and documentaries. He learned to play violin from Marjan Ghanbarimehr and started learning principles of teaching violin from her as the assistant tutor at the age of fifteen. He learned about the structure of string instruments as well as maintenance, repairing, and tuning various violins from his grandfather, Master Ebrahim Ghanbarimehr; and is currently learning musical instrument making from him. He has been active in the field of making, repairing, adjusting, and tuning string instruments for more than 17 years, and due to being involved in learning, tutoring and playing musical instruments he has established extensive contacts with young musicians and prominent tutors of string instruments to exchange ideas and provide services. So far, he has been a part of numerous ensembles and orchestras such as Camerata, Nilper Orchestra, Uraman String Quartet, Ghanbarimehr Ensemble, and others as Violin Player, Alto player and ensemble master. Adel has played on a number of film scores and music albums. Recently, by starting a collaboration with Shahin Entezami (Tegh), he has started his journey in electro-acoustic music seeking new experiments within the sonic world.
